Citibank Ad

This is another clip from Jacoby that had no Audio. We tried to recreate the sound of the room, while adding my own humorous twist on the character. The footsteps are particularly effective, as well as the use of the dryer buzzer to pull in the audiences attention. The fun part was throwing junk around the garage to recreate the crash of the shelves.

Rabbit Cartoon

This is a cartoon that Michelle Wolf showed to me. I found it weird and wonderful, so John and I stripped the audio, and added our own sound effects. Some of the audio is sampled, most is Foley recording. I provided the voice of the Idol. This is one of the most fun projects I have ever done, but this cartoon is definitely not for kids!

Fantasy Football Documentary

On this short Documentary, John and I did the location recording (ZOOM H4), as well as post production recording and mix down (Pro Tools). The audio is pretty straightforward - just another Sunday afternoon.

AMC Hornet Commercial

This is a commercial that I wrote and directed for Jacoby's class. I tried to make it as serious as possible, because my car alone is comedic brilliance (that's me driving). We mixed the audio using Pro Tools and added some Rancid for fun. I particularly like the use of sound to create an off-screen event.
Special thanks to Clay, Mike, Dave, John, and Andrew to help get these great shots!

SF Valencia Health PSAs

On this series of PSAs for Valencia Health Services, I was asked to do all of the post production audio using pre-recorded audio. The VO actress was great to work with, but I did have a problem with heavy "S" sounds. I ended up automating all of the "S's" using Pro Tools. I also edited some radio spots.

Bear Fight Commercial

This is another clip that we received without audio. John, Ryan and I recorded pretty much all of the sounds straight into Pro Tools. It was particularly fun reproducing the bear sounds.

Video Test

This Promotional Video was given as a class assignment in Professor Jeff Jacoby's "Audio for Video" class at San Francisco State University. When my partner, John McNamara, and I received this video clip, it had no sound. John helped to create these sounds using GarageBand. We edited the piece using Pro Tools. I enjoy the "unearthiness" of it.
